The Dutch playgroups are organised during school holidays and have been a great success for many years!
We work in small groups and focus on a specific subject/theme during the playgroup. Examples of the activities are:
- group time to facilitate group discussions
- Dutch songs
- Dutch games, traditional games and games focused on improving vocabulary
There is a lot of personal attention for every child. We encourage the children to speak a lot and improve their self-esteem in speaking Dutch. But most of all we want the children to enjoy themselves and have a lot of fun!
We need a minimum of four applications per suburb to be able to run a playgroup. For an additional charge Dutch in Sydney can hire a location to facilitate the playgroup or it can be organised at one of the families homes. If you are happy to have the playgroup organised at your house, please mention this in your application.
